The Binghamton Rumble Ponies have a chance to grab first place in the Eastern League's Eastern Conference when they travel to Trenton for a three-game series against the Thunder beginning tonight.  Tonight's game begins at 7 PM with air at 6:45 with Tim Heiman on News Radio 1290 WNBF.

Binghamton heads into the series just two games behind the first-place Thunder.  The Rumble Ponies record is 28-17 while Trenton holds a record of 32-17 which is not only tops in the division but the overall best record in the Eastern League.

The Thunder is 17-7 at home.  The Rumble Ponies have a road slate of 18-8.  Binghamton and Trenton are both 7-3 in their last ten outings.

Donovan Hand is tonight's scheduled Binghamton starter while Domingo Acevedo gets the nod for Trenton.  Binghamton dropped its last outing...a 6-5 decision to the Hartford Yard Goats in a Memorial Day afternoon contest at NYSEG Stadium. The Rumble Ponies return home for a four-game series against the Portland Sea Dogs beginning on Friday evening at 7:05.
