The Binghamton Rumble Ponies ended their six-game home losing streak on Monday night with a doubleheader sweep of the Erie Seawolves at NYSEG Stadium. After the Richmond Flying Squirrels swept their three-game series against the Rumble Ponies last weekend Binghamton responded with 2-1 and 3-0 win over Richmond.

In the opening game which continued a game suspended in the first inning on April 14 Mickey Jannis earned his first win of the season firing a six-hitter and yielding just one run as Binghamton secured the win.  Andres Giminez smashed a solo home run to help key the victory.

In the nightcap the Rumble Ponies got four scoreless innings from Joe Zanghi who made his first start in his minor league career start and went on to record a 3-0 victory.  Ryder Ryan earned the win in relief.  Stephen Villines closed out the contest with a scoreless seventh inning.
