The Binghamton Rumble Ponies closed their week-long homestand with a Memorial Day victory over the Bowie Baysox at NYSEG Stadium on Monday.   The 3-2 win upped Binghamton's record to 26-23.

A two-run eighth inning enabled the Ponies to come from behind and post the one-run decision.  The win gave Binghamton its third triumph in the four-game series. David Roseboom earned the win in relief for his first win this season.

Starter Marcos Molina struck out nine batters and gave up two runs in 6.2 innings of work.  John Mora walked with the bases loaded to plate the winning run.

The Rumble Ponies start a three-game series in Erie tonight (Monday) at 6:05 PM.  Broadcast time is 5:50 P.M. from UPMC Park.  The two teams square off again on Wednesday evening at 6:05 and close the series with a day game beginning at 11:05 on Thursday morning.

Binghamton returns to NYSEG Stadium for the upcoming weekend. The Rumble Ponies host New Hampshire for three straight outings beginning this Friday night.   Binghamton then travels to Hartford and Portland next week.
