The Akron RubberDucks handed the Binghamton Mets a 5-2 loss at Canal Park in Akron on Saturday night.  The B-Mets have now lost six consecutive games dating back to last season in Akron.

Robert Gsellman, just back off the injured list, made the start but took the loss to fall to 1-3.  Shawn Morimando started for Akron and earned the win upping his record to 8-0.  Binghamton has been struggling and now has lost 12 of the last 15 games they have played.

The B-Mets close the weekend series Sunday with a 2:05 game (1:50 PM on News Radio 1290 WNBF.  Casey Delgado will start for Binghamton versus Akron's Michael Peoples.  The B-Mets return home Monday to host the Richmond Flying Squirrels at NYSEG Stadium at 6:35 PM.  That kicks off an eight-game homestand for Binghamton.
