The historic Roberson Mansion on Front Street is undergoing its annual transformation into a holiday forest and Christmas showcase.

Roberson Museum and Science Center director of marketing and public relations, Jason Fiume, speaking on the November 7 edition of the weekly, local public affairs program, Southern Tier Close Up lays out the plans and preparations for this year's Home for the Holidays exhibit that draws thousands to the Binghamton museum each year.

In addition to the uniquely decorated designer trees and the International Forest, Fiume says visitors will enjoy the elaborate decorations in the mansion, special entertainment on weekends, model trains and items in the gift store that can't be found anywhere else.

Home for the Holidays runs November 18-January 10.  More information can be found at the museum website: www.roberson.org or by calling (607) 772-0660.

Southern Tier Close Up can be heard Saturdays at 12:10 p.m. on News Radio 1290 WNBF.
