Bob Joseph/WNBF News [file][/caption]Binghamton Police are investigating a report of a knife-point robbery in the area of apartment buildings downtown.

Authorities were called about a man saying he was robbed on Susquehanna Street at 4:15 a.m. March 9.

Police had been looking for a Hispanic male, possibly in his late 30s, standing around 5’6” tall and weighing around 200 pounds in connection with the report.  The suspect was said to be wearing dark jeans and a dark coat at the time.

Apparently the victim was not hurt and there was no information available as to whether any property had actually been stolen.
