Robber of Two Broome County Banks is Sentenced

A Norwich woman is to spend up to six years in New York State prison for a pair of bank robberies in Broome County.

36 year old Jamie Blewett has been sentenced to two consecutive terms of one to three years for robbing People’s Security Bank and Trust on Upper Front Street and a second branch of the bank in Conklin in May.

Prosecutors said Blewett took $1,600 in the first heist and $2,500 in the second robbery.
