Roads Washed Out in Broome County

Do NOT drive around barricades!

Broome County emergency services officials say there has been a wash-out in the construction area of Prospect Street at Mygatt Street in Binghamton due to heavy rain. The National Weather Service says there is also a creek out of its banks in Port Crane with flooding on Canal and Albany Streets. Roads are reported washed out on Route 7-B.

A dozen New York State Electric and Gas customers in the Town of Hancock without power this morning and a small number of customers in Binghamton and the Town of Fenton without service.
