The Riverside Drive Reconstruction Project is continuing in Binghamton.  The work which consists of a combined $5.4 million in improvements is expected to continue through the summer months.  May 6 traffic heading  west towards Johnson City was being detoured off Riverside at Oak and directed around several blocks of road and infrastructure work.

A final top coat on the first phase of the project is expected to be applied  this spring with the rest of the project receiving a top coat at the end of the paving season.  Workers have been dealing with the infrastructure and sidewalks within the reconstruction project.
