Luke Richardson will not return as the head coach of the Binghamton Senators next season.  After four years at the helm of the B-Sens Richardson and parent club Ottawa mutually agreed to part ways.  In 304 games as Binghamton's coach Richardson's teams had a record of 153-120-17-14.  In two of the four seasons his teams qualified for the post-season twice.

13 players in Binghamton were recalled by the Ottawa Senators this season with11 making their NHL debut. Richadson played in 1,417 career games with Toronto, Edmonton, Philadelphia, Columbus, Tampa Bay and Ottawa.  He played in 78 games with Ottawa scoring two goals and nine points.

In a statement released by Ottawa Richardson stated "I've enjoyed my four years of coaching in Binghamton and am proud of the accomplishments of the players and team."
