A downtown Binghamton grocery store damaged when a minivan plowed into its entrance two months ago is being repaired.

Four people were hurt when the out-of-control vehicle crashed into a car on Court Street June 26 and then slammed into Maryams Mart a block away.

The entrance to the store at 65 Court Street sustained heavy damage. It had been boarded up since the day of the crash.

Today, workers removed the covering that had concealed the entrance. The unveiling of the repaired store exterior came a few hours before the opening of the nearby downtown roundabout.
