Red-Hot Binghamton Mets Travel To New Britain
The Binghamton Mets have been playing red-hot baseball. They have won 16 of their last 19 games and three in a row versus the Altoona Curve. Last night the B-Mets topped the Curve 7-4 as starting pitcher Matt Bowman went seven innings and gave up just a pair of runs to earn his sixth win of the season. Darrell Ceciliani went 2-4 and scored three times to pace the B-Mets offensively.
Tonight Binghamton travels to New Britain to begin a a four-game series against the Rock Cats. Rainy Lara will make his 11th start of the season for the B-Mets. The Rock Cats counter with left-hander Taylor Rogers. Coming into tonight's contest Binghamton sports a 48-33 slate while the Rock Cats are 41-38. Air time tonight is set for 6:50 with Tim Heiman on News Radio 1290 WNBF.
The B-Mets return to NYSEG Stadium for a four-game series against the Erie SeaWolves on Friday night, July 4th at 7:05 PM Overall, the B-Mets will be home for eight straight games including a four-game series versus the Port Sea Dogs.
