Red Cross Gets New Regional CEO

Western and Central New York, including the Binghamton area, have a new American Red Cross Regional President and CEO.

Alan Turner II joins the Red Cross from his position as head of the United Way of Central Florida, where he was the President and CEO for three years.

Turner is a native of Upstate New York and had served as the presidents of United Way agencies in Alabama and Tennessee and was Executive Director of the Association of New York State Youth Bureaus and has worked with the New York State Assembly.

Turner starts his new job November 5.
