Records were broken, milestones reached and the Binghamton Bearcats women's basketball team rolled to a 52-38 victory over the UMass Lowell River Hawks today (Saturday) at the Events Center.  Imani Watkins broke Binghamton legend Bess Greenberg's all-time career points record with a three-point basket early in the first period.  Then Alyssa James grabbed career rebound number one thousand and the Bearcats went to work defensively to hold the River Hawks to just 30 percent shooting and nine percent from three-point range.

Binghamton also struggled offensively and made just 34 percent of their shots.  With the win the Bearcats up their America East record to 10-4 and set-up a huge showdown with rival Albany next Thursday at the Events Center.  Albany and Maine are tied for the lead with records of 11-3.
