A record amount of money is being contributed to the Community Hunger Outreach Warehouse or CHOW in the Greater Binghamton area thanks to some hungry Southern Tier residents.

The organizers of September’s Binghamton Restaurant Week report $8,534 is being contributed to CHOW.

Over 21,822 meals were served for the ten day run of the eighth annual Restaurant Week that ended September 26.

24 Binghamton restaurants participated in the week, offering select, three-course menus for lunch and/or dinner at a discounted price.

Spring Binghamton Restaurant Week will take place April 1 through the 10th.
