Raymond Corp. Celebrates 90 Years in Greene

Employees and residents in Greene celebrated a big anniversary for one of the largest employers in Chenango County on October 6th.

Elected officials joined with Raymond Corporation executives, employees and Greene residents in celebrating the company's 90th year in business.

Raymond Corporation is one of the largest maufacturers of industrial materials-handling equipment.

The party was held at the company's headquarters in Greene and started with food and entertainment for employees and was then opened to the general public to join in the celebration.

Officials say 600 jobs have been added to the company in the past two years and close to six dozen additional positions are currently open.
