Heavy rain and strong winds pounded the area tonight forcing postponement of the scheduled game between the Binghamton Mets and Portland Sea Dogs at NYSEG Stadium.  The game never got started as severe weather swept in prior to the first pitch.

The teams will make-up the postponed game tomorrow beginning at 5:35 (air at 5:20 on News Radio 1290 WNBF). Weather has battered the B-Mets schedule this season.  Tonight's washout marks Binghamton's eleventh postponement and the sixth game KO'd at home.

The postponed contest also delayed Binghamton Bearcats' fans who wanted to see former pitching ace Mike Augliera start on the mound for Portland.  Augliera played at BU from 2009 - 2011.  With the Sea Dogs he is 3-7 on the season with a 5.36 ERA.  One of those losses was a 5-1 defeat handed him by the B-Mets on May 2nd at NYSEG Stadium.
