More rain and severe weather is moving through our area into Tuesday morning.  Following Friday evening's two or more inches of rain that hit Binghamton and other parts of the WNBF listening area the ground is saturated making more heavy rain even more of a problem.

After many streets and underpasses were flooded and impassable on Friday night Monday's storms can cause streets and side roads to become water covered after only a few minutes of rain.  The National Weather Service has continued a Flood Watch for the WNBF listening area through 10 PM Monday night.

Numerous thunderstorms with heavy downpours have passed through the area with more expected into the evening hours.  By Tuesday afternoon the forecast calls for a break in the rain action with at least partly sunny skies by afternoon.  News Radio 1290 WNBF has the latest weather information to start your day with First News beginning at 5:30 AM.
