A section of Hayes Avenue in Endwell will be closed to through traffic for several days because of scheduled work at a railroad crossing.

Town of Union officials say Hayes Avenue between North Street and Wayne Street will be out of service from Monday through Thursday.

Norfolk Southern Railway is planning to do work at the Hayes Avenue crossing.

The most recent traffic count for the street indicates an average of more than 6500 vehicles use the street daily.
