The annual Project Homecoming Job and Career Fair was held today (Thursday) at Center Court in the Oakdale Mall in Johnson City.  The event was held from noon - 4:00 P.M. and was organized through the Greater Binghamton Chamber of Commerce and Title Sponsor M&T Bank.

65 businesses and organizations were on hand to seek workers and talk with prospective employees.  Job opportunities ranged from service positions to truck drivers and office personnel.  Along with company booths and displays representatives from the New York State Department of Labor and Workforce New York were on hand to help answer any questions pertaining to working in New York State.

The Job and Career Fair is held during the Christmas and New Year's break to enable college students home for the holidays and area high school students ages 16-18 to apply for positions and learn more about prospective careers. Part-time as well as full-time positions were available at many of the businesses who took part in the Job and Career Fair.
