Prinicipal Hired For Binghamton Middle School

A Johnson City School District administrator has been chosen to be the next principal for a Binghamton middle school.

The Binghamton City School District Board of Education has hired Lori Czeitner to be principal at East Middle School on East Frederick Street.

Czeitner is to become the school principal July 1. She has been an assistant middle school principal in Johnson City since 2009.

Czeitner was a secondary math teacher for the Johnson City district for about a decade. She then served in various administrative roles for the district.

Czeitner will replace interim East Middle School principal Mary Surdey.
