Preble Home Destroyed in Fire

Authorities are looking for the cause of a fire that destroyed a home in Cortland County.

The blaze was reported at the house on Baltimore Road in Preble at around 12:45 a.m. January 19.

A woman and her son were in the home but got out safely.

Officials say the fire may have started in the kitchen.
