Pounds of Pot Found in Triangle Traffic Stop

New York State Police have made a huge marijuana haul.

Troopers say they pulled over a vehicle on Interstate 81 South in the Town of Triangle for a traffic infraction at around 3:20 p.m. January 18 and found ten pounds of marijuana in the vehicle.

39 year old Keith Surivan and 28 year old Chandy Vongxay, both of Rochester, are charged with felony criminal possession of marijuana.

Both were sent to the Broome County Jail without bail.
