A Broome County U.S. Postal worker is recovering from injuries suffered when the mail truck she was driving rolled over at around 2:30 p.m. July 8 in the Town of Binghamton.

New York State Police were called to Stevens Road and found the truck tipped over and the driver trapped inside.

The woman was cut out of the vehicle and taken to the hospital.

Officials say the woman was conscious and alert when she was removed from the vehicle.

Her name and condition as well as the cause of the crash have not been released.
