Ask any coach or manager if they would be happy to have a 14-1 record in another team's home venue and it would be tough to find anyone who didn't enthusiastically answer "Yes!"  That's what the B-Mets are at Hadlock Field in Portland, Maine.  Binghamton had not lost in Portland since a playoff game on September 5th, 2014.  That is...until this afternoon (Thursday). The Sea Dogs edged Binghamton 2-1 on a Baseball in Education day with an 11:00 AM start.

Rainy Lara started and took the loss dropping his record to 2-3.  Simon Mercedes got the win in relief to go to 2-2.  Binghamton finished their six-game road trip with a 4-2 slate to put their overall record at 13-11.

The B-Mets return home to NYSEG Stadium Friday night at 7:05 PM to host the Akron RubberDucks.  The RubberDucks visit for a three-game series that includes 1:05 PM games on Saturday and Sunday.  All three games will be aired on News Radio WNBF.
