Port Dickinson Two-By-Four Attack

A Port Dickinson man is charged with attempted assault, reckless endagerment and menacing following a reported dispute on New Year's Day.

Broome County Sheriff's officals say 22 year old Tyler Maddox is accused of hitting a person in the back of the head with a board.

Deputies say Maddox fled the scene of the alleged 2X4 attack but was located by Port Dickinson police a short time later.

Authorities say the incident was apparently the part of an on-going dispute.
