The Binghamton Rumble Ponies battered New Hampshire pitchers for 10 runs in the fifth inning and came from behind to defeat the Fisher Cats 12-4 Sunday afternoon in New Hampshire.  The win ups Binghamton's record to 16-10 and gave starter Donovan Hand the decision.

The fifth inning is one the Fisher Cats wish they could erase from their records as the Rumble Ponies offense exploded.  Jio Mier ripped a grand slam home run and Dale Burdick blasted two home runs in that same inning to break the game open.  In all Binghamton sent 14 batters to the plate in the fifth inning and collected nine hits on the way to the ten run frame.

The Rumble Ponies continue their road trip on Monday with a three-game series in Portland, Maine against the Sea Dogs.  Corey Oswalt is the scheduled starter for Binghamton.  All three games in the series begin at 6:00 PM with air times at 5:45 on News Radio 1290 WNBF.
