The Binghamton Rumble Ponies host the Akron RubberDucks today at 12:05 PM  ( air at 11:50 AM on CBS Sports Radio 1360 AM) in a doubleheader at NYSEG Stadium.  It is "Super Splash Day" for fans.  A portion of the stadium seating will accommodate fans who want to cool off while watching the game.  Staff will hose down those areas throughout the game to keep fans cool and comfortable.  For fans who don't want the "Super Splash Day" experience a number of areas will be dry.

Chris Flexen is scheduled to start the first game on the mound for Binghamton.  He is the reigning Eastern League Pitcher of the Week.  In his last outing he gave up just one hit in eight innings at Reading.  His record is 5-1 with an earned run average of 1.82.

In the second game Andrew Church makes his first Double-A start for Binghamton.  He was 6-7 with an ERA of 5.14 at Class St Lucie.

Following today's twinbill the Rumble Ponies hit the road for a week beginning tomorrow night in Harrisburg for a 7:05 game.  Binghamton returns home to host New Hampshire next Thursday night at NYSEG Stadium.
