The Binghamton Rumble Ponies are scheduled to host the Hartford Yard Goats today at 1:05 PM in a Memorial Day afternoon contest at NYSEG Stadium.  Last night the Yard Goats ended Binghamton's seven-game winning streak with a 3-2 win.  Seth Lugo, on a rehab assignment and working his way back to the Major Leagues with New York started on the mound and gave up all three runs in six innings of work to suffer the loss.

Fans who attend today's game may well see a young left-hander who could be in New York before this season ends.  P.J. Conlon gets the start for Binghamton.  He is 5-2 so far this season with an impressive 3.02 ERA.  He makes his tenth start of the season, is 3-1 in his past four starts and has already fired a one-hitter in his first season at Double-A.  With continuing mound woes in New York Conlon could be on the fast track to the Big Leagues.

Going into action today Binghamton is 28-16 and two games out of first place in the East Division of the Eastern League.  Hartford is 22-26 and ten games out of the top spot.

Today's game is being broadcast on CBS Sports Radio 1360 AM with coverage beginning at 12:50 PM.  Fans can install a free app for their smart phone and follow along with the game wherever they may be.
