The Binghamton Rumble Ponies took the Portland Sea Dogs into extra innings last night before dropping a 2-0 decision at NYSEG Stadium.  Portland scored a pair of runs off reliever Corey Taylor who took the loss. Binghamton stranded one runner in the bottom of the tenth but Jamie Callahan closed out the game for the Sea Dogs to preserve the win.

The loss spoiled an excellent start from P.J. Conlon who pitched six scoreless innings and struck out six Sea Dogs.  Conlon is the New York Mets Minor League Pitcher of the Year after notching 12 wins in Class A Ball last season.

WNBF Sports has learned that tonight's scheduled game at NYSEG Stadium versus the Sea Dogs has been postponed.  It will be made up as part of a doubleheader on June 3rd beginning at 5:35 PM.
