The Binghamton Rumble Ponies defeated the Harrisburg Senators this (Thursday) afternoon by a final score of 5-3 in Harrisburg.  The win gives Binghamton a pair of victories in the three game series.

Binghamton jumped in front of the Senators 5-0 in the first two innings of play.  Jeff McNeil powered his 14th home run of the season as part of that uprising. Scott Copeland went six innings and earned the win upping his record to 4-0.  Copeland had been up with the New York Mets for one game.

Binghamton improves its record to 33-26.  This was the only visit to Harrisburg this season for the Rumble Ponies.  Now, the Ponies head to Trenton for a weekend series against the New York Yankees affiliate.  The opening game in the series on Friday night is the "Sandwich Showdown".
