A Tioga County woman was accused of driving with her blood alcohol level at three times the legal limit.

Authorities say 39-year-old Kristy Herman of Candor was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated. She also was cited for several other traffic violation.

According to state police, Herman was arrested around 10 p.m. Tuesday following a traffic stop.

Investigators say Herman was observed on Route 96 in the village of Candor driving a vehicle without the headlights on.

Police say Herman's blood alcohol content was measured at 0.24 percent.

Herman was ordered to appear in Candor village court on July 11.
