Two people face felony charges after search warrants were executed at separate locations in Johnson City.

Authorities say the raids were conducted simultaneously on Wednesday morning on Roberts Street and Grand Avenue.

Investigators say crack cocaine, packaging materials and a .22 caliber rifle were confiscated from the Roberts Street apartment of 38-year-old Abdul Shabazz. He was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminally using drug paraphernalia and criminal possession of a weapon.

Officials say heroin, crack cocaine and packaging materials were found in the Grand Avenue apartment of 30-year-old Shanika Cassis. She was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminally using drug paraphernalia.

Shabazz and Cassis were sent to Broome County Jail without bail.
