Police Seek Information on Missing Vestal Woman

SAUNDRA STABLER [Vestal Police Department][/caption]Vestal police are asking for the public's assistance in connection with the disappearance of an 82-year-old woman.

Authorities today said Saundra Stabler was last seen at her home on Ideal Terrace nearly two weeks ago.

Investigators say Stabler had not been seen since Sunday evening, January 25.

Detectives asked people who may have information regarding Stabler or her whereabouts since then to contact the Vestal Police Department at 607.754.2477.

Facebook posts in recent days indicated Stabler's family was seeking assistance in locating the woman.

Vestal police declined to answer questions about why the missing person report was not made public until today.
