Binghamton police say a pair of robberies at a South Side grocery store appear to be related.

Authorities say the latest heist at the Quality Market at 1206 Vestal Avenue happened on Tuesday night.

The store was targeted by a lone gunman in an afternoon robbery on December 20, three weeks earlier.

Detectives have released surveillance video of the suspect in the latest incident in which the suspect was wearing a dark-colored hoodie.

Police have not said how much money was taken in either robbery. No injuries were reported.

Investigators believe the two robberies at the Quality Market are connected. They have not said whether they may be linked to other recent robberies or attempted heists at city businesses.
