Police Say Men Were Doing Drugs on Main St. Johnson City

Johnson City Police say they responded to a report of two men possibly using drugs in a vehicle on Main Street in the Village.

An officer was reportedly injured during a short foot chase before 33 year old Anthony Kinner of Vestal was arrested.

He's charged with felony assault, resisting arrest and criminal possession of controlled substance.

Also arrested was 26 year old Daryll Michaletz, Junior of Endicott.

After being detained at the scene he was arrested and charged with felony criminal sale of a controlled substance.

Kinner and Michaletz were sent to the Broome County Jail.
