A 47-year-old Delaware County man who had been reported missing after a fire tore through his mobile home has been found.

Authorities say William Lawson of Hamden apparently had been hiding in a wooded area since Monday morning's blaze.

A motorist called police after Lawson was spotted near the fire-damaged mobile home Thursday evening.

Lawson was taken to Delaware Valley Hospital in Walton after he complained of chest pain and dehydration.

When firefighters arrived at Lawson's residence at 866 Chambers Hollow Road Monday morning, they found the mobile home and a nearby storage shed burning.

Investigators say both of the separate fires had been set.

The Delaware County Sheriff's Office expects to make an arrest soon.
