New York State Police say they found an illegal marijuana growing operation in a shed at a property in Endwell.

October 13, Troopers and the Vestal Police searched a home on Richmond Road and arrested 33 year old Andrew Honnick.

Officials say they found over eight ounces of pot in the shed and charged Honnick with felony criminal possession of marijuana.

Officials say it all started when an Endicott Police Officer conducting a separate investigation noticed the strong smell of marijuana on the property.

Honnick was sent to the Broome County Jail.
