Police: Endicott Man Stole From His Employer

A man who worked at a town of Chenango convenience store has been accused of stealing several hundred dollars.

Authorities say 29-year-old Robert Bennett Jr. of Endicott was charged with petit larceny.

According to state police, Bennett is believed to have swiped $403.39 from the Mirabito Express on Upper Front Street. The investigation began April 27, when the theft was reported.

Bennett was ordered to appear in Chenango town court next month.
