Police: Canton Widow’s Gun Used in Husband’s Murder/Suicide
Pennsylvania State Police say a Canton woman is facing a firearms violation charge in connection with a murder/suicide involving her late husband.
46 year old Kimberly Chisman allegedly bought a Taurus 9mm handgun for Curtis Chisman since he was not allowed to purchase a gun due to a prior criminal conviction.
On May 5th, Curtis Chisman used the gun to shoot and kill Teesha Rieco, with whom he had a child, then fatally shoot himself in the head.
Kimberley Chisman was charged May 22 with felony sale or transfer of firearms and unsworn falsification to authorities. She posted $45,000 bail and was released.
