Local Emergency Services officials say they are starting to receive complaints from alarmed citizens who are seeing people at odd hours of the day on private property and in parks.

Officials say the trespassers are apparently people playing the wildly popular downloaded game “Pokemon Go” that has participants using GPS to find locations where the mythical beast is located.

Authorities say while the game seems harmless, participants need to be aware of their surroundings and respectful of property.

National reports have cited cases where players are standing in front of fire department doors, step into traffic and even a case where criminals, aware of clues in the game, lie in wait for players and rob them.
