For the second time in less than a week, Johnson City police are investigating the robbery of the CVS Pharmacy on Main Street.

Shortly after 7:30 p.m. November 16th, the store reported a man had displayed a knife and made off with a small amount of cash. The same store had been robbed on the 12th.

Police have noted similarities between the two robberies. In both cases, the suspect was described a a black man wearing a dark mask. The latest robber displayed a six inch long knife while the previous robber only indicated he had a weapon in his pocket, which was never seen.  The latest suspect was described as in his 40s, about five feet, nine inches tall and weighing between 190 and 200 pounds. The earlier suspect was described as standing about six feet tall and heavy-set. In both cases, the suspect fled on foot.
