The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation is reporting traffic deaths have reached an all time low.

PennDOT says there were 1,195 deaths on Pennsylvania roads in 2014, the lowest since records started being kept in 1928.

Specific data regarding such numbers as deaths in drunk driving crashes, crashes involving older drivers and unbuckled fatalities can be found with the new Pennsylvania Crash Information Tool at www.dotcrashinfo.pa.gov.

Transportation officials say they continue to work toward a goal of zero fatalities.

PennDOT also has roadway safety tips available, including information on the Mature Driver Improvement program online at www.JustDrivePA.com.
