PennDOT says it has launched a video to assist Pennsylvanians in navigating roundabouts.  The film instructs residents on using both single and multi-lane roundabouts, whether in a vehicle, on a bicycle or on foot.

The video can be seen on PennDOT’s You Tube channel or at www.penndot.gov.

Data over at least three years after the installation of the state’s first ten roundabouts built at traditional intersections finds crash rates and serious crashes went down significantly.

PennDOT says fatal crashes went from 2 to 0, major injury crashes from 4 to 0, minor injury crashes were down 25% and total number of crashes fell 16%.
