Pedestrian Struck By Car in Downtown Binghamton

A person who was hit by a vehicle near the Boscov's store in downtown Binghamton this afternoon was taken to a hospital for treatment.

The incident at Court and Hawley streets happened about 2:25 p.m.

The pedestrian was taken to Wilson Medical Center in Johnson City by a Chenango ambulance.

The injuries were not believed to be serious but police officers at the scene declined to discuss the person's injuries.
