Paving Planned On Binghamton Streets

Bob Joseph/WNBF News

The city of Binghamton’s street repaving program is getting underway for the season.

City officials are asking residents in areas where paving is planned to remove vehicles from their streets by six o’clock on the morning of the planned work.

According to the city’s schedule, Orton Avenue from Main Street to Grand Boulevard is to undergo paving work on Monday.

On Tuesday, paving is planned on Park Street from Main Street to Schubert Street.

The schedule could be revised if the weather doesn’t cooperate. The planned work could be delayed until the next day
