One of Section 4's longest rivalries continues this Friday night at 7:00 P.M. when the Binghamton Patriots invade Ty Cobb Stadium in Endicott to meet the Tigers.  The game will be broadcast on News Radio 1290 WNBF as part of our "Game of the Week" package.

These two schools along with U-E's opponent next weekend , the Vestal Golden Bears, regularly battle for the top spot in their division. This year both the Pats and Tigers are 1-2 overall.  Binghamton is 1-0 in Division I of Section 4.  The Patriots defeated Horseheads last weekend 51-35.  The Tigers rolled over Section 3 member Auburn 55-29 last weekend.  U-E is 0-1 in Division I after a 45-41 loss to Corning.

Both teams can put points on the scoreboard but have had difficulty stopping the opposition.  Binghamton averages 27.3 points per game but is giving up an average of 38 points per outing.  Union-Endicott is averaging 39 points per game but is giving up 44.7 on defense.
