Playing in steady to heavy rainfall the Binghamton Patriots downed the Johnson City Wildcats 42-20 at Wildcats Stadium in Johnson City Friday night.  Binghamton held a 22-6 lead at the half.

The Patriots put up their first two touchdowns on long runs. Matt Collins-Pringle scored near the end of the first quarter on a 46-yard run.  Then Eric Fortner raced in for a score from 60 yards out to put Binghamton up by a pair of TD's.  Johnson City countered with a long run of its own when Ladarius Thompson broke away for a 56-yard tally.  The Patriots used an eight-yard pass from John Petrucci to Devon Herman to go back up by a pair of touchdowns at the end of the first half.

The Wildcats Thompson had an outstanding game breaking numerous long-gainers.  That proved even more important since starting fullback Zac Durgala left the game after suffering a leg injury on the Wildcats' first play from scrimmage.

Binghamton finishes the regular season at 4-4.  The Wildcats conclude the regular campaign at 0-8.
