In a renewal of one of the area's biggest rivalries the Binghamton Patriots went to overtime to defeat the Union-Endicott Tigers 36-28 at Ty Cobb Stadium on Friday night. Running back Mose Hill scored the winning touchdown on Binghamton's first possession in the overtime session. Connor Ackerson caught the two-point conversion pass from quarterback Zane Olmstead to account for the eight-point lead.

Under overtime rules each team gets a possession from the 20 yard-line.  The Tigers tried to counter on their possession but Zach Pilarcek's fourth down pass was knocked down by the Binghamton defense.

Mose Hill was a shining star for the Patriots.  He scored four touchdowns including the game-winner.  Binghamton had the lead at the half...up 20-14.

Pierce Eynon scored a pair of touchdowns for U-E.  His first TD came when he forced a fumble and raced into the end zone for a 27-yard score.  His other score came on a three-yard run.

With the win Binghamton moves to 2-2 while the Tigers are now 1-3.  U-E remains home to host another rival next Saturday.  The Vestal Golden Bears invade Ty Cobb Stadium for a 2 P.M. kickoff.  WNBF will broadcast that game as part of our "Game of the Week" package.
