The Binghamton Patriots fell behind 27-0 in the first half and never recovered as Christian Brothers Academy (CBA) picked up a 40-14 win in the New York State Public High School Athletic Association Class "AA" Quarterfinals at Cicero-North Syracuse.

CBA advances to the Semifinals next Saturday at 6:00 PM as they face Victor High School also at Cicero-North Syracuse.  Binghamton finishes the season at 6-5 after defeating Elmira last weekend to win the Section 4 Championship.

CBA limited the Patriots to 120 total yards.  Speedster Davin Young gave the Patriots their most exciting moment when he returned a kickoff 88 yards for a touchdown.  He was named the Most Valuable Player for Binghamton.  Eric Fortner gave the Pats their only other touchdown when he recovered a fumble in the end zone for the score.

Earlier in the day Newark Valley crushed Lowville 34-0 in the Class "C" quarterfinal. In the "B" quarterfinal it was Chenango Forks defeating Cazenovia 35-13.
